Rémy Martin was established 1724 in Cognac but has since 1990 been part of the Rémy Cointreau Group. The house trademark is “Fine Champagne” meaning cognac with at least 51% of grapes from Grand Champagne and the rest from Petite Champagne. Rémy Martin is one of the few large houses the exclusive is using grapes from one of the two champagne cru’s. The company also predominately focus on the “superior segment” meaning it almost do not sell any V.S. Cognac but only the qualities above.
