Hine

Hine was founded in 1791 by British immigrant Thomas Hine but know the house belongs to the CL World Brand group. Hine has knowledge in producing Grande Champagne Vintage cognacs and has large collection of vintages, from the beginning of the last century, kept in locked cellars, under the supervision of the Bureau National Interprofessionel du Cognac. The house also specializes on the maturing of so-called ‘early-landed’ cognacs. This custom dates back to the 19th century, when they first shipped selected vintage Grande Champagne Cognacs in cask to Bristol, in England, to mature in the unique conditions of the Bristol cellars.
